Day Courses

At Caledonian Photographic we believe that photography is all about learning and have now established a new range of day courses designed for both beginners and advanced photographers.

Beginners
These courses are designed for those with limited photographic knowledge who want to have a better understanding of their camera, take better photographs or learn how to use photographic software. Whatever the reason, we are sure that you will improve your photographic skills by attending one of our courses.


Currently Beginners courses offered are:
Happy Snapper: For those who have a compact digital camera and do not want to be involved in photography but just wish to know how to take better holiday / family snaps.

Digital Photography for beginners: Designed for those who wish to learn about photography. This course lays the foundation for developing further in photography.

Digital Photography: For those that wish to improve their computer skills at adjustment and manipulation of their images.


Intermediate / Advanced:
These courses are designed for those who are interested in photography, primarily designed around the enthusiastic amateur, they offer an opportunity improve and build on existing skills.

Technique
These are designed to improve your technique in a practical way. They combine classroom, field and computer aspects that improve your existing skill base.

Technique courses are currently based on a number of topics such as Landscape, Audio Visual, Macro with others planned over the coming season.

Finishing
These are courses designed for those who wish to sell their work or have specific projects in mind. These courses cover topics such as;
Calendar Making
Mounting and framing


Each course is an intensive full day, run at weekends in various locations in Scotland and are limited to a maximum of 8 participants.
